In addition to being director of the Family Wellness Group, Rachel operates her Health Education business, Encore Health both at the Family Wellness Group clinic, with Medical Wellness and Lifestyle Education seminars, and interactive workshops in schools. Rachel is a university lecturer and mentor to associate practitioners and tuition groups, being a strong advocate for supporting the development and experience of future health professionals. In clinical practice, Rachel continues to pursue her passion for treating infants and children as well as assisting pregnancy care with pre and postnatal support for women.
Rachel is a published author in the International Journal of Medical Sciences and American Medical Journal- Science Publications, continuing now to contribute to conference presentations with other health professionals, including teaching roles in different subject areas of healthcare education. Rachel has observed directly how lifestyle impacts physical health, in both prevention and recovery of illness for all ages, and feels honoured to support children and adults around the globe in the quest for greater health, happiness & fulfillment.
Rachel has been very fortunate to travel to the USA and Europe for postgraduate training in Advanced Paediatric training and the Biodynamic approach to Osteopathy in the Cranial Field, founded by the late Dr. James Jealous D.O, completing the 9-year post-graduate academic program, as well as the 3 year Paediatric focused course. Rachel continues to gain experience and building on the mentorship previously passed on by Dr. Jealous, taking part in continued education with his faculty of international senior mentors she is privileged to learn from.
